Privacy Policy
Shared Planner
Effective Date: August 19, 2026 | Last Updated: August 20, 2026
Shared Planner is operated by Terraform Innovations LLC, a New York limited liability company ("Shared Planner," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect information when you use the Shared Planner application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By using Shared Planner, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Account and Profile Information
When you create or use a Shared Planner account, we may collect your name, email address, profile photo or avatar, account/user identifier, and authentication information necessary to maintain your account.
Shared Planner supports email/password authentication and Google Sign-In. If you use Google Sign-In, we receive information made available through the authentication process, such as your name, email address, and account identifier. Shared Planner does not use Google Sign-In to access your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, Google contacts, or other Google services unless we separately tell you and obtain any required authorization.
Content You Create and Share
Depending on how you use Shared Planner, we may process groups, calendar events, tasks and to-do items, shopping lists and other lists, reminders, group chat messages, notes and descriptions, manually entered event locations or addresses, images, documents and files, profile and group images, and other information you choose to enter or share.
Content shared within a group may be visible to other members of that group according to the features and permissions available in Shared Planner.
Safety Reports, Feedback, and Blocking Information
If you submit a safety report, Shared Planner may process information such as your account identifier, the reported member or account identifier, the type of subject reported, relevant group or message identifiers, attachment context where applicable, the reason you select, additional details you choose to provide, timestamps, report status, and moderation or administrative actions associated with the report. Reporter identity is available to authorized Shared Planner administrators as needed to review and investigate a report, but it is not disclosed to the reported member through the normal reporting process.
To protect the reporting system from misuse, Shared Planner may process account identifiers, report subject identifiers, reasons, timestamps, and related technical or operational information to detect duplicate submissions, validate group relationships and report context, apply reasonable rate limits, prevent fraudulent or abusive reporting, and maintain appropriate safety and audit records.
If you block another member, Shared Planner stores the block relationship, including the accounts involved and the time the block was created, so the Service can apply the block to supported chat interactions. The blocked member is not notified through the normal blocking process and cannot use ordinary member access to view who has blocked them.
Location Information
Shared Planner does not use your device's GPS location to determine the location you enter for an event. If you add a location or address to an event, that information is entered by you and stored as part of the event.
Voice Commands
Shared Planner provides an optional voice-command feature for creating events and tasks. The microphone activates only when you intentionally use the voice-command feature. Shared Planner does not continuously listen to your microphone in the background.
Speech recognition is provided through your device, browser, or operating-system environment. Depending on your device, language, settings, and platform, audio may be processed by Apple or Google to convert speech into text. Shared Planner does not receive or store the raw voice recording used for these commands.
The resulting text transcript, together with limited context needed to understand your request, may be processed through Lovable's AI gateway and Google Gemini to interpret the command. Shared Planner does not store the transcript as a separate voice recording or transcript. Information you choose to create from the command, such as an event or task, is stored normally as part of your account.
If you use your phone or keyboard's built-in dictation feature when composing a chat message, that dictation functionality is provided by your device or keyboard provider rather than by Shared Planner.
Subscription and Purchase Information
If you purchase a Shared Planner subscription, the transaction is processed through the applicable app marketplace, such as the Apple App Store or Google Play. Shared Planner does not directly collect or store your complete payment-card information.
We may receive and process subscription status, product or plan purchased, purchase and transaction identifiers, renewal or expiration status, and entitlement information. Shared Planner uses RevenueCat to help manage subscription and entitlement information.
Notifications
If you enable push notifications, Shared Planner uses OneSignal and platform notification services provided by Apple and Google to deliver reminders, group activity, tasks, events, and other app notifications. These services may process push subscription identifiers, device/platform information, Shared Planner user identifiers, and information necessary to route and deliver a notification.
You can manage notification permissions through Shared Planner where available and through your device settings.
2. How We Use Information
We use information collected through Shared Planner to create and maintain accounts; authenticate users; operate shared groups; display appropriate profile information to group members; provide calendars, events, tasks, lists, reminders, and chat; store and deliver images and documents users choose to share; process voice commands; deliver push and transactional notifications; manage subscriptions and plan entitlements; enforce plan limits and available features; provide customer support; maintain the security and integrity of the Service; prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized activity; diagnose technical problems; comply with applicable legal obligations; and operate, maintain, and improve Shared Planner.
We also use safety-report and blocking information to receive and investigate reports; enforce our Terms and safety rules; protect users and the Service; validate report context; prevent duplicate, fraudulent, excessive, or abusive submissions; administer blocking preferences; support manual moderation decisions; maintain security and audit records; resolve disputes; and comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. Shared Planner does not use third-party advertising networks to serve advertisements in the Service.
3. Information Visible to Other Users
Shared Planner is a collaborative service. When you join a group, other members of that group may see information necessary for collaboration, including your name, profile photo/avatar, content you contribute, messages you send, and shared events, tasks, lists, files, and other information you create or modify.
Your account email address is not intended to be displayed or made available to ordinary group members merely because you share a group with them.
You should share only information, images, documents, or other content that you are comfortable making available to the members of the applicable group.
4. How We Share Information
We may provide information to service providers that help us operate Shared Planner, including providers supporting cloud hosting, database and file storage, authentication, push notifications, subscription and entitlement management, speech recognition, AI-assisted voice-command interpretation, email delivery, application infrastructure, and security.
Depending on the feature used, these providers may include Lovable/Lovable Cloud, Google, Apple, OneSignal, RevenueCat, and related infrastructure providers. We provide service providers with information reasonably necessary for the services they perform for us, subject to their applicable contractual and privacy obligations.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or legal process; protect the rights, safety, property, or security of Shared Planner, our users, or others; investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our Terms; or complete a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or transfer of all or part of our business, subject to applicable law.
Safety reports are reviewed only by authorized personnel and service providers as reasonably necessary to operate the reporting and moderation process. We do not disclose a reporter's identity to the reported member as part of the normal reporting process. We may disclose report or moderation information when required by law, legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of the Service.
We do not sell users' private group content to third parties.
5. User-Generated and Shared Content
Shared Planner allows users to create collaborative groups and share information with other members. Content you contribute to a group may be available to other members of that group.
You may delete certain content, such as your own chat messages, where the applicable feature permits deletion. Deleting content may remove it from active Shared Planner systems, although limited copies may temporarily remain in backups, logs, or other systems where reasonably necessary for security, recovery, legal, or operational purposes.
If you block another member, Shared Planner may stop returning that member's chat messages and message attachments to you through normal authenticated chat access while the block remains active. The underlying content is not necessarily deleted and may remain visible to other authorized group members. If you later unblock the member, retained chat content may become visible to you again under the Service's normal retention rules.
6. Data Storage and Security
Shared Planner uses cloud infrastructure to store account information and user-created content. Uploaded images and documents are stored in private cloud storage and access is controlled through application authorization mechanisms.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or destruction. These measures include access controls, restricted storage access, server-side validation for normal in-app uploads, and encrypted network communications where supported by our infrastructure.
No internet-based service or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Shared Planner, maintain your account, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, and satisfy legitimate operational, security, fraud-prevention, legal, or regulatory requirements.
Under the current Service configuration, chat messages are generally retained for up to 365 days unless deleted sooner by the user or removed as part of account, group, or other applicable data deletion. Retention practices may change as the Service evolves; material changes will be reflected in this Privacy Policy where appropriate.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete or de-identify it. Certain limited information may be retained after account deletion where reasonably necessary for security and fraud prevention, legitimate transaction or subscription records, legal or regulatory obligations, honoring email suppression or unsubscribe requests, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, or maintaining appropriate system and audit records. We seek to limit retained information to what is reasonably necessary for those purposes.
Safety reports, moderation records, duplicate-prevention information, and related audit information may be retained after the underlying content or account is deleted when reasonably necessary for safety, security, abuse and fraud prevention, dispute resolution, enforcement of our Terms, legal compliance, or maintaining appropriate audit records. Block relationships are used to provide the blocking feature and are removed when the block is removed or when an associated account is deleted, subject to limited records that may lawfully be retained for the purposes described above.
8. Account, Group, and Data Deletion
You can permanently delete your Shared Planner account from within the app. Account deletion removes the account and associated user data from Shared Planner's active systems, subject to the limited retention circumstances described in this Privacy Policy.
Because Shared Planner is collaborative, deleting your account can also affect shared content. If you own a Shared Planner group, permanently deleting your account will also permanently delete groups you own and the associated content in those groups for all members. Similarly, deleting a group you own permanently deletes the group and its associated content. These actions cannot be undone once completed.
Users should preserve any information they wish to retain and, where appropriate, notify other group members before deleting an owned group or account.
Shared Planner also provides an external web resource for account-deletion requests or information as required by applicable app-store rules.
9. Data Export and Portability
Shared Planner provides account-data export functionality for supported account information. Depending on applicable law and the nature of the information, you may also request a copy of personal information associated with your account or request data portability in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format where required.
Some collaborative content may include information relating to other group members. We may limit or adjust an export where reasonably necessary to protect the privacy and rights of others.
10. Google Sign-In
If you choose Google Sign-In, Google processes information as necessary to authenticate your Google account and provide the authentication result to Shared Planner. Shared Planner uses information received through Google Sign-In for account authentication and profile functionality. Shared Planner does not request access to unrelated Google services through Google Sign-In unless separately disclosed and authorized.
11. Children's Privacy
Shared Planner is not directed to children under 13, and it is not intended to be used by children who cannot lawfully consent to the processing of their personal information under applicable law without authorization from a parent or guardian.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in circumstances where parental or guardian consent is legally required and has not been obtained. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Shared Planner in violation of applicable law, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
12. International Users and Cross-Border Processing
Shared Planner may be available to users in multiple countries. Terraform Innovations LLC is based in the United States, and information may be processed or stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.
Data-protection laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer of personal information, we and our service providers will use legally recognized transfer mechanisms or other appropriate safeguards as applicable to the transfer.
Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived under the laws that apply to you.
13. EEA, United Kingdom, and Similar Data-Protection Rights
Legal Bases for Processing
To the extent the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), United Kingdom GDPR, or similar law applies, we process personal information under one or more applicable legal bases, depending on the purpose and circumstances:
- Performance of a contract or steps requested before entering a contract - for example, creating and maintaining your account and providing the collaboration features you request.
- Legitimate interests - for example, securing the Service, preventing fraud and abuse, maintaining and improving functionality, and supporting users, where those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
- Consent - where applicable, such as permissions or optional processing that legally requires consent. You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
- Legal obligations - where processing is necessary to comply with applicable law, lawful requests, accounting obligations, or other legal requirements.
Your Rights
Where applicable, you may have the right to be informed about processing; access personal information; correct inaccurate or incomplete information; request deletion; request restriction of processing; object to certain processing; receive certain information in a portable format; and withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis.
You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority or supervisory authority in your country or region. These rights may be subject to exceptions and limitations under applicable law.
To exercise a right that cannot be completed directly in Shared Planner, contact us using the information in Section 19.
14. California Privacy Rights
This section applies to California residents to the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, "California Privacy Law"), applies to Terraform Innovations LLC and the relevant processing.
Subject to applicable law and exceptions, California residents may have rights to know or access categories and specific pieces of personal information collected; request correction; request deletion; obtain information about categories of sources, purposes, and recipients; and receive equal service and pricing without unlawful discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
Shared Planner does not sell personal information for money. Shared Planner also does not use or disclose personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising and does not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16 for those purposes.
If California Privacy Law gives you a right to opt out of sale or sharing, our current practices do not involve sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices materially change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any legally required choices.
We may need to verify a privacy request before fulfilling it. Where permitted by law, an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf, subject to appropriate verification and authorization requirements.
15. Other U.S. State Privacy Rights
Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional privacy rights under applicable state law, which can include rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information and, in some circumstances, to opt out of specified uses of personal information.
Shared Planner does not use personal information for third-party targeted advertising and does not sell personal information for money. To exercise an applicable state privacy right that is not available directly in the app, contact us. We may verify your request as permitted by law.
16. Cookies and Local Technologies
The Shared Planner website and web-based portions of the Service may use cookies, browser storage, session storage, or similar technologies necessary for authentication, security, preferences, and operation of the Service.
Shared Planner does not use these technologies for third-party behavioral advertising. Additional information about website cookies may be provided in a separate Cookie Policy where applicable.
17. Third-Party Services
Shared Planner relies on third-party platforms and service providers to operate portions of the Service. Those providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and contractual obligations.
Examples include:
- Apple - app distribution, purchases, device services, speech recognition where applicable, and push-notification delivery.
- Google - authentication, Google Play purchases, device services, speech recognition where applicable, and AI processing used for certain voice-command functionality.
- OneSignal - push-notification delivery and notification subscription management.
- RevenueCat - subscription and entitlement management.
- Lovable/Lovable Cloud - application infrastructure, cloud services, data storage, and AI gateway functionality.
We may update the providers we use as the Service evolves. When changes materially affect how personal information is handled, we will update this Privacy Policy as appropriate.
18. No Advertising, Sale, or Cross-Context Behavioral Tracking
Shared Planner currently does not display third-party advertising in the Service. We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or tracking by third-party advertising networks.
19. Your Privacy Choices and Requests
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal information. You can modify certain account information directly through Shared Planner, delete individual chat messages where that functionality is available, manage notification permissions through your device, export supported account data, and permanently delete your account through the app.
Where available, you can also manage members you have blocked through Shared Planner settings. Removing a block restores normal supported chat visibility and interaction for retained content; blocking and unblocking do not themselves delete the other member's content or remove either person from a shared group.
To make a privacy request that cannot be completed through the app, contact us at sharedplannerapp@gmail.com. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before fulfilling a request and may deny or limit a request where permitted or required by law.
20. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Shared Planner changes or as legal, regulatory, or operational requirements evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the Last Updated date and provide additional notice where required by applicable law.
